About our Cakes


Any Occasion Cakes believe your cake should not only be fabulous to look at but be fabulous to taste also. Therefore our cakes are freshly baked to order within our kitchen/workshop using only the finest fresh ingredients available such as free range eggs, real butter, chocolate no less than 70%, fair trade sugar, no artificial aditives or preservatives and we do not use 'bought in' cakes for us to simply decorate. Our Main Cakes Sponge Cake - a classic Maderia style cake layered with buttercream and seedless rasberry jam. Chocolate Cake - a rich dark chocolate sponge layered with luxury rich dark chocolate ganache. Lemon Cake - a refreshing lemon cake filled with fresh lemon zest and layered with lemon curd and or lemon buttercream. Rich Fruit Cake - a traditional fruit cake starts with the fruit marinated in brandy and turned daily for three weeks. The cake (ideally) is made at least three months in advance of the occasion to mature and then covered with a generous layer of marzipan. Fresh Cream - a sponge cake layered with fresh cream and seasonal fresh fruit. Many more flavours just ask and I am sure we are able to accomodate you. We are able to provide you with an organic wedding cake, using only organic ingredients. Pricing will differ for these cakes. Eggless cakes upon request. Information Design Service As our cakes are bespoke and made to order. We are able to design something new or you can choose a design from our portfolio, or adapt one of our designs to complement your theme, likes or event by changing the colours, flowers etc. Consultation and cake tasting Consultation is by appointment only. Cake tasting (wedding only) samples will be provided at this time upon request. The design consultation is as above. Following your consultation (one to one or via the phone) a cake confirmation may be posted out to you. Notice Required Please order as early as possible so that your idea can be researched, designed and created in time for your special occasion. Wedding cakes require at least 3 months notice with a minimum of 1 weeks notice for celebration cakes, however depending on our schedule we may be able to accept orders with shorter notice. Payment Your order will be confirmed once full payment or a deposit has been paid. With a 50% of the cake value required. Balance is due two weeks prior to collection for wedding cakes, or delivery date. Balance for celebration cakes may be paid upon collection. Delivery and Set up Service We are able to provide a set up service for your wedding cake to be arranged at consultation. Once the wedding cake has been set up at your venue we are not able to take responsibility for the safety of your cake . Local delivery (and beyond ) service is provided upon request. Cakes decorated with non edible materials If your cake design requires fresh flowers, your florist will supply these and we are happy to liaise with your florist. The use of non-edible materials for cake decoration is growing and with this in mind please remembers to remove these before serving. Any Occasion Cakes will not be responsible for the removal of non edible materials. Stand hire We supply all of the stands and paraphernalia displayed on our web site and more. A cash refundable deposit of £50/£100 is required. This is held in your file until the stand is returned to us. Stands must be returned within specified time. Just ask and we will be happy to accomodate your needs. Cancellation Policy Should you need to cancel your order for any reason up to one month prior to the date of your wedding event, the deposit (£50.00 or £100) is non-refundable. All other monies paid will be refunded by business check within fourteen business days. If your order is cancelled beyond this time scale an admin fee will be charged of £20.00. Online Cakes Our Online cakes are not compromised by quality or look. They are hand made to order with the same high standards we use making our bespoke cakes. Order using the on-line order form, pay over the phone or order and pay online, please note these prices are only available online. pay the set price and collect the cake with these no consultation or cake tasting is provided. Your cake will be supplied boxed and ready for collection (as agreed) cakes will be stacked as necessary, all you have to do is take them out of the boxes and display .
